Cinnamon

In ancient times the most precious spice export of Sri Lanka has been the Ceylon cinnamon. Cinnamon known as Cinnamomum zeylanicum has many everyday uses. Every part of the tree, namely, bark, leaves, buds, flowers, fruits, wood, and roots are being used.

Types of Cinnamon

Alba

Alba cinnamon holds the prestigious title of being the finest grade of Ceylon cinnamon found in the market. It is meticulously crafted using the delicate and slender inner bark of the Ceylon cinnamon tree. Alba cinnamon delivers an unparalleled taste, showcasing the epitome of quality that Ceylon cinnamon has to offer. Being a rarity in the market, this grade of cinnamon is not easily found. If you are seeking the utmost quality Ceylon cinnamon for your consumption, look no further as this is the ideal destination to purchase without any counterfeit products.

C5 special

The C5 Cinnamon Special grade stands among the top-tier cinnamon grades available. It is an exceptional variety of true cinnamon, ranking second only to Alba Cinnamon in terms of thickness (diameter) and price. This grade of cinnamon stick serves as an excellent alternative to Alba cinnamon, offering comparable quality. We take great pride in sourcing our cinnamon directly from our own estate and processing it on our premises, ensuring the highest standards of quality and authenticity.

C5

The C5 Grade Cinnamon represents the pinnacle of quality within the Ceylon cinnamon range. It boasts an intensely flavorful profile that is both refined and captivating. Thanks to the presence of Cinamic acid, Ceylon cinnamon acquires a deep and sophisticated taste that is distinctive to this variety. True cinnamon exhibits a highly characteristic flavour that is pleasing, comforting, and wonderfully intense.

C4

Ceylon Cinnamon is classified into four categories - Alba, Continental, Mexican, and Hamburg, which are then further divided into twelve grades. Among these, Continental stands as the second highest in terms of quality. Specifically, Continental 4 (also known as "C4") is in high demand for its exceptional smoothness, exquisite aroma, and rich flavour.

M4

This particular grade encompasses carefully chosen sections of coarse cinnamon featuring attractive reddish-brown patches on the surface of the quills. M4 grade is highly sought after due to its delightful fragrance and sweet taste, making it a popular choice among cinnamon enthusiasts.

M5

Ceylon Cinnamon M5, scientifically known as Cinnamomum Verum, originates from the indigenous plant "Cinnamomum Zeylanicum Blume" found exclusively in Sri Lanka. This makes Ceylon cinnamon unique and unattainable elsewhere. Our M5 Cinnamon grade is distinguished by its rough texture and appealing brown colour.

H1

Introducing the finest cinnamon of Hamburg (H) grade, boasting the smallest quill diameter of 23-24 mm within this grade. H1 cinnamon showcases a lovely pale brown colour, accompanied by a distinct flavour and scent, and a slightly coarse texture. It offers a delightful combination of sweet spiciness with subtle notes of cloves and citrus, creating a unique sensory experience exclusive to Ceylon cinnamon.

H2

The Ceylon H2 Cinnamon grade is the best-selling among the H Cinnamon grades, sharing similar characteristics with the H1 Cinnamon grade. It boasts a rich golden yellow colour, with 90% of the sticks displaying this desirable hue, and is known for its excellent quality.
